Departure After the treatment at Health Link

After receiving PRP treatment, we recommend all patients rest on the day of the procedure. During the following two days, it is advised to use the treated area lightly but keep moving. This helps the joints recover as the surrounding area absorbs the injected substance.

Guidelines for 0 – 3 Days After Treatment

After the treatment, you may experience mild to moderate pain or discomfort at the injection site, which is normal. This indicates that your body is healing and adjusting to the injected substance. Be sure to drink plenty of water to aid your recovery.

It is important not to take any medication after the treatment unless prescribed by your doctor, as any medication may affect the healing process or cause other side effects.

Health Link Clinic’s care for patients does not end on the day of treatment. We remain attentive at every step after treatment to ensure a safe recovery and effective results. Our medical team is always ready to assist if any complications or concerns arise.

After completing treatment at Health Link Clinic, patients are required to stay in Thailand for at least 7 days to undergo an initial observation period. This safety standard is highly prioritized by the clinic and serves the following purposes:

  • To monitor for any adverse reactions or complications following treatment

  • To evaluate the body’s response to the treatment

  • To perform follow-up tests as ordered by the doctor, if necessary

  • To provide self-care guidance before traveling back

During this period, patients will stay at a clinic-recommended hotel located near the clinic, allowing easy access to medical care in case of emergencies.

To ensure patients’ health remains monitored even while abroad, Health Link Clinic has established a follow-up system using an Online Self-Assessment form sent to patients at three intervals:

  • 7 days after returning

  • 14 days after returning

  • 30 days after returning

The form includes questions about:

  • Any abnormal physical symptoms

  • Pain, swelling, redness, or abnormal reactions at the treated area

  • Side effects from medications (if any)

  • Mental health conditions such as anxiety, mood swings, etc.

Patients can conveniently complete the form via mobile devices, and the clinic’s system securely stores the data as part of their medical records.

f during the follow-up period patients find that their symptoms are not improving or have any concerns regarding their treatment, they can consult their assigned doctor online (Teleconsultation). The doctor will review the self-assessment form along with any additional symptoms reported to provide personalized advice, such as:

  • Adjusting the treatment plan or medications

  • Referring information to a hospital in the home country in case of emergencies

  • Scheduling follow-up consultations for chronic conditions

This service is provided free of charge for patients who have received treatment at the clinic.
